If you lived under a rock, never studied world history, never read a book or your name is Steve Rogers and you just woke from coma, then I could see why you would be offended by Amazon's Man in the High Castle Subway Ads.
For those of you who are late to the party, the Allies won the war not the Axis Powers. The ads you are seeing are that of a fictional universe where the Allies lost. But let me be clear, this is all FICTION, fiction means, simply, not real. Now maybe your still confused and that's okay, just go find a tack hammer and hit yourself over the head, repeatedly, because you are a retard.
Now for those of you who have some ability to think above the level of a third grader and are not influence by the twats who are upset, because it's the hip thing to be, here is what Man in the High Castle is about.
The Man in the High Castle was originally a alternate history novel by the author Philip K. Dick. Set in 1962, fifteen years after an alternate ending to World War II in which the war lasted until 1947, the novel concerns intrigues between the victorious Axis Powers, Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany, as they rule over the former United States, as well as daily life under the resulting totalitarian rule. The show, as many other adapted works do, follows almost the same model but makes a few tweaks to be better suited for the screen.
I hope that everyone who reads this takes the time to at least read the book or watch the series. You're robbing yourself of a great story if you don't.
Enjoy the photos because this is the last you will see of it. As of 11/24/15 Amazon has decided to discontinue the ads wrapping the entire 42nd Street subway shuttle cars that had been scheduled to be displayed until Dec. 14.
