Goon: Last of the Enforcers, the sequel to the 2011 cult comedy, directed by Jay Baruchel has unleashed its first trailer, which gives us a look at what Doug "The Thug" Glatt has been up to since last we saw him.
The trailer for, what will ultimately be know as Goon 2, shows the return of Seann William Scott as Doug "The Thug" Glatt. It really is a teaser in the truest sense of the word, since the trailer clocks in at barely a minute long and gives very little in terms of plot for the movie. Even without that, the trailer is probably exactly what everyone who liked the original Goon would want to see.
Much of the original cast from the first movie is returning for Goon 2, including the previously mentioned Seann William Scott as well as Liev Schreiber as Ross Rhea. Also returning will be Marc-André Grondin as Xavier LaFlamme, Kim Coates as Coach Ronnie Hortense, Alison Pill as Eva and Jay Baruchel as Pat. T.J. Miller and Elisha Cuthbert are joining the cast for the sequel. Jay Baruchel also stepped in as director this time around, taking over for Michael Dowse.
Goon: Last of the Enforcers is set for release in Canada on March 17, 2017.
