'The Barn' Rolls Out 80's Style One Sheet

Its Halloween 1989, best friends Sam and Josh are trying to enjoy what's left of their final Devil's Night before graduating high school. But trouble arises when the two pals and a group of friends take a detour on their way to a rock concert, finding an old abandoned barn and awakening the evil inside. Now it's up to Sam and Josh to find a way to protect their friends and defeat the creatures that lurk within "The Barn".

THE BARN is a throwback feature horror film meant to feel like an authentic 1980s low-budget slasher, Seaman told Fangoria. “It’s sprinkled with cheesy dialogue, mixed with rad custom ’80s clothing/hairstyles and humorous effects, topped off with a vintage stylized retro look. I originally wrote THE BARN back when I was only 8 years old—a film 20 years in the making! This movie has been made with the combination of the three things I love the most: monsters, Halloween and ’80s rock music.”

Starring Mitchell Musolino, Will Stout, Lexi Dripps, Cortland Woodard, Nikki Darling, Nickolaus Joshua, David Hampton, Rik Billock, James Weldon and Ryan Nogy.

The Barn is written and directed by Justin M. Seaman and produced by Nevermore Production Films. Look for a release sometime in 2015 (October?).

Based just on this artwork and stills I'm putting this in the buy column of 2015 and I'll be sure to keep everyone up-to-date as soon as it gets released.

Fun Fact: The film was shot and produced right here in our home city of Pittsburgh, PA.
