2016's end is quickly approaching and, as always, we have created our top 10 list which only features the best of the best. However, we must note that there were 2 movies that were stretched over 2015-2016. Since we can't place them, we'll just say these two really, really deserve to be seen. Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse and Freaks of Nature are awesome entries into the horror genre, had they'd been released correctly they would have ranked high on the list for sure.
Now that that has been dealt with, lets get on to the Top 10 Horror Movies of 2016.
10. 10 Cloverfield Lane - After surviving a car accident, Michelle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) wakes up to find herself in an underground bunker with two men. Howard (John Goodman) tells her that a massive chemical attack has rendered the air unbreathable, and their only hope of survival is to remain inside. Despite the comforts of home, Howard's controlling and menacing nature makes Michelle want to escape. After taking matters into her own hands, the young woman finally discovers the truth about the outside world.

08. The Good Neighbor - A pair of mischievous high school kids (Logan Miller, Keir Gilchrist) create the illusion of a haunting on an unsuspecting neighbor (James Caan). While keeping his every reaction under surveillance, they see much more than they bargained for, and discover that the man they're tormenting is not the easy target they'd expected.
07. The Monster - A divorced mother and her headstrong daughter must make an emergency late-night road trip to see the girl's father. As they drive through deserted country roads on a stormy night, they suddenly have a startling collision that leaves them shaken but not seriously hurt. Their car, however, is dead, and as they try in vain to get help, they come to realize they are not alone -- a terrifying evil is lurking in the woods, intent on never letting them leave.





01. Rob Zombie's 31 - Five carnival workers are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large compound. At the mercy of their captors, they are forced to play a twisted game of life or death called 31. For the next 12 hours, they must fight for their lives against an endless parade of homicidal maniacs.
